Bre is amazing! She truly listened to what I wanted and, most importantly, put the health of my hair first. She took the time to explain what would work best and executed exactly what I asked for. I left feeling heard, confident and so happy with the results. I received so many compliments soon as I left the salon! I found Bre through a TikTok that came up on my FYP & decided to book a haircut with her. I truly loved how it turned out! I usually get very nervous when getting haircuts as stylists have gone too short on me in the past, but Bre took the time to listen to my vision & explained how she would achieve it. She made me feel comfortable from start to finish, she’s very knowledgeable, & so easy to yap with! I’m really happy with my experience! I’m excited to get some color done with her very soon! UPDATE: I've officially decided to start going to J. Avienda Salon for all of my haircare needs. They're amazing, truly amazing. ------------------------- I had such a wonderful experience at J. Avienda Salon! My usual stylist (at a different salon) was unavailable, so I decided to try something new, and I’m so glad I did. I scheduled a blowout with Breanna, who is not only talented but also incredibly sweet. My hair turned out amazing—and even hours later, it still looks perfect. The attached photo is my hair five hours after the appointment and after an outdoor photoshoot. After my appointment, I had the chance to chat with the owner, Julio, who was unbelievably kind and attentive. He truly goes above and beyond for his clients. I overheard him reminding someone to check their parking meter because he was keeping track of the time for her—that kind of thoughtfulness is rare! He even offered me a beauty blender to touch up my foundation after I mentioned how haphazardly I did my makeup before the appointment 😂 Between Breanna’s skill and Julio’s attention to detail, this salon has earned a new fan. Highly recommend J. Avienda Salon if you want to feel pampered and leave looking your best!

I’ve been going to Nicholas for nearly two years and his cuts are excellent every time!! He takes the time to listen, offers valuable input, and is precise and detailed with the looks he creates. The salon is beautiful, conveniently located, and getting my hair done there is always such a peaceful experience. It’s also reasonably priced, which iykyk when you’re looking for a salon in West Loop. Genuinely wouldn’t go anywhere else in Chicago and absolutely recommend Nicholas and J. Avienda.
